A jade ‘Poem and Seal’ archer's ring, Qing dynasty

White jade with subtle reddish flecks, carved in the form of an archer's ring or ‘板指’. It has a slightly rounded upper rim, and shows, on the outside, a short poem next to an incised four-character seal. It shows age patina.
