"Ancestor mask" in white jade, Shijiahe style.

Ornament (shi 飾) in the form of a mask, made of white jade and carved in relief on one side of the plate. The face, semi-human, has large and exaggerated features with a mouth showing teeth. The rest of the face is decorated in a spiral. In the upper part there is a hat that ends in a pointed shape. The lower part is uneven, but ends in a beak. In very good condition.
