“Bi” white jade Hetian “Mountains and poem”, Qing dynasty

Beautiful Hetian white jade disk carved in the form of a “Bi” with rounded edges and a central circular hole. Decorated with incised landscapes and poems. 

On the obverse, it shows a delicate landscape of rugged mountains topped by large trees and with four birds taking flight along with the poem “对空澹 斜水然 ”. The reverse shows four evenly arranged characters “春成偶日”.

With custom-made box. Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912).
