Blue and white porcelain fangpin vase, ‘Flowers’, Qing dynasty

Square porcelain vase with two handles in the shape of lion masks with rings. The entire surface is profusely decorated in cobalt blue with a dense composition of lotus and peony scrolls. The neck and foot are ornamented with borders of plant and geometric motifs. The base bears a six-character seal reading “大清乾隆年制”.
