编号 85.
内容描述.

Bronze or gilded and polychromed copper. It shows the deity on a lotiform base, with both feet stepping on two small demons lying on his belly, in Yab-Yum, with his consort Vajravarahi whom he embraces tightly with four of his arms. He holds in his many arms various attributes such as a vajra or a bell. His three heads show a wrathful expression, with arched eyebrows and open eyes and mouth; they are decorated with a high crown of floral motifs. The hair is tied up in a high, decorated bun, as is customary in this type of representation. Both bodies are decorated with a multitude of Buddhist jewellery, and the image is finished with a frame at the back, in the shape of a lotus leaf, with bas-relief decorations of skulls and scrolls. The piece stands out for the multitude of details that make it up and the quality with which they have been made.
