内容描述.

Ornamental sculpture of a crane, cast in bronze with delicate cloisonné enamel decoration. The figure represents this auspicious bird with a long neck and slender body, standing majestically, its neck elegantly curved in an "S" shape. The body is completely covered in white enamel, on which fine motifs simulating plumage are drawn. The carefully delineated wings are distinguished by their vibrant colouring, framed by fine gilded metallic cells, in a design that combines scale shapes and overlapping feathers. The head is crowned with a red enamelled cap, symbolizing vitality, and the elongated, curved beak features traces of gilding on the bronze surface. The slender legs, also in gilt bronze, imitate scales through a regular pattern.

Cranes have deep symbolism, associated with longevity, wisdom, and high status. This type of figure was often used both as a decorative element in aristocratic interiors and in ceremonial or votive contexts.

Size: 47 x 18 cm
