Buddhist bamboo plaque, Qing dynasty

Rectangular-shaped carved bamboo with borders of dragons facing each other in bas-relief surrounding two characters '齋戒' (zhaijie) in traditional script, on one side, and in Manchu script on the other. It has a decorative cord at the end.
