内容描述.

A jade carving of a Buddha's head with soft, stylized features. The face has half-closed almond-shaped eyes, thin lips slightly curved in an expression of inner peace, and elongated ears that evoke traditional Buddhist iconography. The piece displays a hairstyle in the form of snails arranged in concentric rows, crowned by a prominent ushnisha at the top, a symbol of spiritual wisdom. The jade, of a golden ochre hue with lighter natural veins and polished areas, has a satin surface that accentuates the anatomical transitions. At the base, the piece has a perforated cylindrical opening, probably designed to be mounted on a body or pedestal. The carving is precise, in line with the devotional aesthetic of the Ming dynasty, a period when small-format Buddhist images for domestic or ritual use were widespread. Ming dynasty (1368-1644) or later.
