Carved jade plaque, ‘Bird and Flowers,’ Qing dynasty

Thin rectangular plaque of milky-coloured jade. It is finely carved and engraved with the representation of a bird in flight, with outstretched wings, among scrolls and branches of lotus and daisy flowers. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
