Carved jade seal ‘Auspicious Beast’, Qing dynasty

Rectangular jade seal carved from pale celadon stone with an oily appearance. The top is sculpted as an auspicious beast reclining with its head turned. The base bears the seven-character seal ‘梦而能觉何待旦’ in bas-relief with traces of red sealing wax.
