A jade seal carved in cubic form, topped with the figure of a coiled dragon, a symbol of imperial power, wisdom and good fortune. The sculpture has a serpentine, muscular body, with finely worked details on the head, mane and claws. The dragon's expression is energetic, with bulging eyes and an open snout. The stone is of a uniform cream colour, with natural veining and subtle reddish tones at the base. It has an engraved inscription on the underside ‘天机何处不风流’, with traces of red wax. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
