Carved jade seal ‘Turtle’ from Hetian, Qing dynasty

Carved Hetian jade, beige with brown and whitish veins. Decorated with the figure of a tortoise, symbol of longevity and wisdom, with a shell incised with a geometric pattern. The base bears the inscription ‘金粟如来’. Qing dynasty (1644–1912)
