Carved stone vessel, Shoushan, 20th century

A low bowl carved from 'Shoushan' (寿山石) stone, which is decorated with two openwork handles in the form of archaic dragons facing each other on the sides. The dragons have embossed details on the front. A long inscription in Chinese characters is engraved on the inside. The stone has brownish, ochre and mustard tones.
