Chinese painting “Arhat in Meditation,” signed Ding Guanpeng

Ink and pigments on silk, on a brocade fabric frame. It depicts a male Buddhist figure, sitting on a rock in a meditative pose, with his hands in a gesture of prayer. Demons appear beneath his feet. He is dressed in an orange and white tunic with blue details. In the lower left margin is the inscription ‘臣丁观鹏恭绘’, accompanied by two red seals: “臣” and ‘丁观鹏’.
