Chinese painting "Chicks under a Bamboo Cage" signed by Qi Baishi

The scene is composed of expressive brushstrokes and a simple composition. In the upper left corner is the inscription: "星塘老屋后人白石", followed by "老人居京华二十又三年于城西". Below are two "白石" seals. Qi Baishi (1864–1957) was one of the most influential artists of modern Chinese art, known for his fresh and vibrant style, focusing on scenes of everyday life and nature.
