Chinese painting ‘Deity on a White Elephant’, signed Jin Kun

Painting executed in ink and pigments on silk, mounted on brocade silk. It depicts a deity seated on a white elephant, holding a large ruyi in his hand. The figure, with a solemn appearance, is dressed in a red and blue robe with green details, while behind him there is a circular halo. On the left side is the inscription ‘臣金昆敬绘’ next to the red seal ‘金昆之印’.
