Chinese painting “Longevity, the crane, and the pine tree,” signed Tao Cheng

Ink and pigments on silk, on a brocade frame. It depicts two large cranes under a pine tree, next to a rock on which camellia branches bloom, symbols of longevity and nobility. On the left margin is the inscription ‘鹤寿松龄成化七年孟秋月云湖山人’ next to a red seal ‘云湖’.
