Cylindrical container of mottled blue glazed porcelain, with Xuande seal

A cylindrical porcelain vessel with vertical walls that is slightly curved toward the base and a straight mouth, covered by a thin, custom-made lid. The piece is covered with a deep, mottled blue glaze that imitates the effect of lapis lazuli. The interior is unglazed, with circular marks typical of turning. On the base, there is an underglaze blue mark inscribed within a double circle, reading: "大明宣德年製.".
