Eight enamelled snuff bottles "Erotic scenes", 20th century

Set of eight porcelain snuff bottles, each decorated with erotic scenes in polychrome enamels over glaze, following the visual tradition inspired by Chinese shunga art. Various shapes, including globular and pear-shaped bodies, with matching gilt stoppers. Finely detailed backgrounds with landscapes and architectural elements. Bases bear different marks in underglaze blue.
