内容描述.

Bronze censer from the Zhengde period (1506-1521). The mouth is square and irregular, and the slightly smaller base descends in a curved shape, from which the four slender feet emerge. On either side of the bowl are two sinuous handles depicting mythological sea beasts. Under the handles and on the base of the censer itself are multiple incised characters. The front and back of the censer are also incised with traditional archaic-inspired decorations that combine curved lines and geometric motifs.  Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) Zhengde period (1506-1521).
