Enamelled Porcelain Bowl "Peonies", 20th Century

Porcelain bowl decorated in polychrome enamels over a vermilion ground. The exterior features a symmetrical composition of large stylized peonies in pink, yellow, and green tones, flanked by plantain leaves and vegetal scrolls. The interior is glazed white. On the base, a four-character apocryphal mark “康熙御制”  appears in underglaze blue, enclosed in a square cartouche.
