内容描述.

Cast and gilded bronze sculpture representing Tara, one of the most venerated female deities of Tantric Buddhism. The figure is modelled with great refinement and balance, and is depicted seated in padmasana, with both legs crossed and the soles of her feet facing upward. Her right hand, resting on her knee, forms varadamudra, a gesture of generosity and offering. Her left hand, raised to chest level, performs vitarkamudra and also holds the stem of a blooming lotus, which rises elegantly to her shoulder. Her serene, gently sloping oval face is crowned by an elaborate five-pointed headdress decorated with flowers and plant elements. Her hair is combed upward and gathered in a high bun, partially lacquered in dark blue pigment. The deity's body is adorned with an elaborate array of jewelry: a pearl necklace, bangles, bracelets, a belt, and earrings, all sculpted with detail and symmetry. The base, in the shape of a double lotus, is carefully modelled with alternating petals.
