Glazed ceramic meiping vase ‘Flowers’, Jizhou kiln

Meiping-style stoneware vase covered with a thick dark brown, almost black glaze. The surface is decorated with plum blossom motifs in reserve, applied with bone-coloured engalba. The unglazed base reveals the ceramic body. Jizhou kiln style.
