Gold and emerald belt, Morocco, 20th century.

Large belt made up of 14 gold plates, open worked and elaborated with floral elements. It presents engraved details on the front and a total of 20 emeralds. The central piece shows six oval emeralds, separated on the sides from a large central emerald, rectangular cut, which is also surrounded by a border of 26 rose-cut diamonds. The rest of the pieces have one oval-cut emerald, respectively, set in the centre. 

Gold of different carats of 14k and 18k. One of the plates separated as an addition.
