Zoomorphic figure carved from white Hetian jade with natural ochre-coloured veins, representing a fantastical creature with an elongated body and legs tucked under its body. The face, with expressive features and half-open jaws, reinforces the protective nature of the piece. It comes with a custom-made box lined with fabric.
