Hetian jade figure “Fish”, Qing dynasty

Carved jade figure of light tonality, slightly greenish, with reddish spots. It shows in detail, the image of a large fish with a friendly expression and curled tail, with the upper area of the body covered by fine incised scales. The animal is entangled between long seaweed leaves and beautiful lotus blossoms, which add dynamism to the composition. Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912).
