Hetian jade figure ‘Hare’, Qing dynasty

Hetian jade carving depicting a hare in a sitting position, with its ears folded back and its limbs tucked under its body. The surface displays natural ochre veins. It has a longitudinal perforation in the back for use as a pendant.
