Hetian jade seal ‘Ram’, Qing dynasty

Seal carved from Hetian jade in whitish tones with ochre veins and slight transparency. It has a rectangular base with rounded corners, crowned by the figure of a reclining ram with soft forms and its head turned. The seal is engraved with the characters ‘慎思’ on the base.
