Jade seal ‘Beast biting its tail’, Ming dynasty

Beige-toned jade seal with a natural ochre-coloured mottled patina, crowned by the figure of a mythological beast in a reclining position, biting its own tail. The rectangular base features an incised inscription. Ming dynasty (1368–1644)
