竞标由. 300 €
编号 325.
内容描述.

A finely carved jadeite ornamental plaque in shades ranging from milky white to deep green, with brown veins that provide an attractive chromatic contrast. The piece is oval in shape and is entirely openwork, with a design of intertwining lotus leaves surrounding the central scene. In the centre of the composition is a ceremonial bowl with an open lid, from which a spider appears to emerge. The spider ‘蜘蛛’ is considered to be a bringer of happiness. This image, together with the open bowl, symbolises the reception of blessings, abundance and joy. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
