Japanese Imari porcelain dish, late 19th century

A large porcelain dish decorated with underglaze blue enamel, overglaze coloured enamel and gilding. It shows a small central landscape surrounded by cartouches framing pots with flowers, birds and mythological beasts, all surrounded by decorative borders with geometric motifs.
