Large Italian gilt metal writing desk, early 20th century

An Italian scriber's desk in gilt metal with two side compartments and four scrolled legs with acanthus leaves and flowers. Decorated with vegetal motifs and reliefs of small angels with a large central female mask. No visible maker's marks or stamps. In good condition.
