Necklace with central “Dzi” and coloured beads, Qing dynasty

Necklace composed of a cylindrical banded agate Dzi in dark brown, white and cream tones, arranged as a central element. On either side are two spherical red stone beads and two faceted turquoise beads, all assembled on a blue braided cord with an adjustable sliding clasp. The composition is sober and harmonious, with a strong protective symbolism. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
