Pair of ceramic horsemen, Ming dynasty

Pair of molded and polychrome kaolin ceramic figures with green, amber, yellow and red glaze. 

They represent two young men, presumably belonging to a high position by the clothes, riding on horseback astride a saddle. Both are dressed in a long jacket tightened at the hips with a long belt from which hangs a small vessel on one of them. On the head, slightly tilted, is a traditional Chinese hat, and the arms bent to the chest, indicating that they are probably carrying something in their hands. The horses, with firm posture and looking straight ahead, are adorned with fine green harnesses with yellow decorations such as bells or coins.
