Porcelain enamelled cup, pink family ‘Scene’, Qing dynasty

Modelled porcelain in the form of a fine cup, with a circular base, a short foot and a flaring body that widens towards the mouth, which ends in a thick rim. It is decorated with a central scene in which several sages, accompanied by young apprentices, are arranged in a beautiful garden where they contemplate a traditional painting of the ‘Ying-Yang’, all executed in ‘pink-family’ glaze over glaze. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
