Carved piece in yellowish-brown Hetian jade, with patina and natural veins. The upper part features the reclining figure of a stylised mythological beast, with a serene expression and rounded forms. The base bears the inscription ‘悠然见南山’. Qing dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
