Sapphire-blue glazed vase, Qing dynasty, Qianlong
A porcelain vase decorated with a brilliant sapphire-blue glaze that covers the entire piece. It has a globular, flattened body with a stylized neck that ends in a garlic-shaped mouth with lobed and elongated decorations. The lower part of the neck has a thin strip in relief where the glaze is thinner and the white ceramic is subtly visible. The circular base presents a six-character seal '大清乾隆年制'. Possible Qianlong mark.
