内容描述.

A small carved white jade vase that combines decorations characteristic of various dynasties.

The piece is crowned by a small lid, which fits into the mouth of the vase. As it descends, the neck of the vase narrows to widen again at shoulder height, forming a bulging, sinuous body that narrows at the foot. Two beautiful elephant-shaped handles (commonly used in the Qing dynasty) are arranged on either side of the neck, from which hang a jade ring on each side.

The mouth, lid and base of the vase are decorated with consecutive geometric motifs, while the belly, delimited by two thick plain bands, depicts mythical taotie beasts, which are very common in Han decorations. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).

The piece is in good condition and shows age patina.
