Small lapislazuli box “Bats and clouds”, 20th century

Small carved lapis lazuli box inlaid with coral and turquoise. It has a rectangular shape, slightly wider at one end, and a hollow interior. The exterior is decorated in the center, by an incised background of geometric motifs on which are arranged, interspersed, coral inlays in the form of bats with outstretched wings, with turquoise inlays representing small curled clouds.
