Small porcelain jar ‘Cranes’, 20th century

Small ovoid porcelain bottle with a short neck. It features a scene painted in polychrome enamel depicting cranes under a plum blossom tree, with peonies, bamboo and other plants. On the reverse side are two calligraphic characters. The base bears a red underglaze mark.
