Spinach green jade ‘Mythological Dragon’ seal, Qing dynasty

Green jade, with a rectangular base on which a crouching dragon is placed, with a fierce expression and large curled horns on its head. The surface retains natural veins. On the base there is a seal inscribed with ‘消磨白日惟诗酒’ (Wasting away the days with poetry and wine). Qing dynasty (1644-1912)
