Jade of an intense spinach green colour with dark veins. It has a rectangular body crowned by the figure of a seated beast with its head raised, legs tucked under and a small scarf draped across the front. The base features incised characters "省事不如清心" in relief. Qing dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
