Glazed ceramic bowl ‘Bats and Peaches’, 20th century

Polychrome modelled ceramic. It has a circular base and a deep body with a curved profile that ends in a wavy rim. It is decorated on the outside with three superimposed borders, the first of which, next to the base, is a continuous line of scrolls. This is followed by alternating auspicious characters, open-winged bats and groups of three peaches in succession. Finally, next to the mouth, large bats are arranged between elongated clouds.
