Porcelain brush container “Ruyi clouds”, with Yongzheng mark

A porcelain brush container with a slightly curved cylindrical body, a narrow mouth and a wider base. It has a light celadon glaze, translucent and glossy, overlaid with a relief decoration of stylised ruyi clouds, a symbol of good omens and longevity. The design flows smoothly around the surface. The base, with unglazed rim, bears a seal executed in underglaze blue “大清雍正年制”.
