White and blue porcelain brush holder ‘Bogu hua’, with Kangxi seal

Porcelain glazed in white and cobalt blue, decorated with a continuous scene of the Bogu hua (博古画) type, depicting objects and antiques arranged on tables and furniture. The piece, with a cylindrical body, rests on three small legs and has an unglazed base with a six-character stamp ‘大清康熙年製’ in blue underglaze.
