Wucai enamel vessel ‘Dragons’, with Wanli seal

Square porcelain jar with a curved profile, rounded shoulders and short neck, decorated with wucai enamels on a white background. Each of its four sides features a five-clawed dragon surrounded by stylised clouds, lotus flowers and scrolls. Geometric friezes decorate the neck and foot. The base bears an underglaze blue seal mark ‘大明万历年制’.
