Socarrat performed by Scals, medieval-like shaped ceramic cross with Jesus.
Jaume de Scals, born in Jijona (Xixona) Alicante province in 1913. Died in 1978. He studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos.
Ceramist profession, he specialized in medieval Valencian ceramics and "socarrats" (type used in medieval coffered tiles)
