Description.
An elegant pendant of white jade, decorated with a scene of reliefs and openwork details of elongated, sinuous branches of lotus blossoms, with a large swan with a slender neck and bulging belly, flanked by two outstretched wings filled with fine feathers. The bird raises its beak, forming a curve with its slender neck, resembling the leaves and branches of the lotus. At the top is an 18-kt yellow-gold setting in the form of a fine network of branches filled with small leaves. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
