Description.

Made in gilded and polychrome bronze. It retains the original gilding and lips painted with red pigment. The figure represents Buddha seated with a serene face. In addition, with the left hand he holds a bowl and with the right hand he expresses a gesture. 

Size: 24x16 cm.

 

Provenance:

Gérard Vissering Collection. Former president of the Dutch National Bank and advisor to the Chinese emperor.
