a Chinese cinnabar lacquer dish with chrysanthemums, 20th century

Carved red lacquer with metal rim and lobed profile. The centre has a scene of rocks, butterfly and chrysanthemums with a background of concentric diamonds. The rim has lotus scrolls and curled leaves on both sides. It has no inscription or markings. It shows patina and is in good condition.
